On the 3rd and 4th of November, a Dog Survival Run took place in Ede (Netherlands). Also our (still) youngsters Jana Jansen with her Emy and our youth manager Ina Velken with her duke participated. There, in a very demanding race, they showed that in addition to agility, they also master this sport excellently. Running 5.3 km together and mastering a wide variety of obstacles as a team has been achieved by these two teams. They were able to reach the sixth place and the 10th place among the female participants.

Our youngest teams in the club passed the Companion Dog Exam on 20.10.2018 at our autumn exam! Helena with Theo and Sophia with Maja showed what they have learned in long and intensive training! Finally, these two teams can train more agility again and maybe soon sniff the first tournament air :)

An exciting and successful weekend offered us over Whitsun our Agility Youth! After Jana, Jasmin and Jannik had qualified for the youth championship in Dingolfing at the WJJM, it was said in Bavaria: Keep your nerve! The entire team from Westphalia was able to show what they can do in 4 races. Unfortunately, Jasmin and Sky had bad luck in a single race and could not get into the classification. Jana and Emy won the jump on the last day, but unfortunately had two poles in the A-run too much, so both finished sixth. For Jannik and Lynn it was almost perfect in three races and with only one mistake they secured the title of Junior Champion A3 !! Congratulations :) In the team Westphalia reached place 2 in agility and 1 in IPO!

Our youngest teams have successfully mastered their first agility launches! Sophia and Helena each started with two dogs at the Kids tournament, organized by OG Raesfeld-Erle. Sophia and her Maja make 2nd place in the Jumping, with Chiwa (E .: Jana Jansen) she stayed unbeaten in the advanced and won both races! Helena and Theo were able to secure the 2nd place in the jumping and also with Adele (E .: Ina Velken) she made it on the podium with the advanced and took 3rd place! A great start for the two, we are looking forward to the next year with you :)

Jannik, Luisa and Josef manage to reach the final of the World Championships for German Shepherds in Tilburg! Jannik and Flash mastered the final parry without a mistake and after Kai Bäcker run Crazy the title of vice-champion !!

Jana and Emy take 2nd place in the class A3 Juniors. Laura Hanning and Isy (E: Ewald Basner) take seventh place in the class A3 Juniors) Lina and Ondra (E: Heinz Elpers) take second place in the class A3 youth. Jannik and Flash reach # 8 in the IPO 3 Youth. The LG Westphalia Youth secures the title of Team Winner in Agility & IPO!

Jannik and Flash get the day's victory of the autumn test in our OG! In their IPO 3 exam they achieved: A: 99, B: 86, C 90, 275 points overall.
